We at Dar Al-Maarifa have the honour of developing some very important methods that help in the Quran recitation and the learning.

We are determined -inshAllah- to help in spreading Allah's words to all people around the globe, and to help them to read and understand the Quran regardless of their languages, either by translating the meanings of the Quranic words into their own languages; or by providing transliterations of the Quranic texts in their own alphabets.

Moreover, we have developed two vital concepts that help the non-Arabic speakers to read the Quran in the original Arabic language: the Obvious Script; and the Permissible Stops.

On top of that, we have helped the Tajweed learners (both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers) in their learning process by providing them with the Color Coded Tajweed Quran.

1. Color Coded Tajweed

A Never Ending Patent

We are honoured to own the patent of the Color Coded Tajweed Quran.

The idea behind this concept is to color the word's letter that contains a Tajweed rule, so as the reader recites the Quran; he/she will be able to apply the correct Tajweed rule through the color of the letter.

There are four main colours:

• Red: indicates a long/short vowels.
• Green: indicates the nasal (Ghunnah)
• Dark Blue: used for letters to be emphatically pronounced
• Light Blue: used for the sound of Qualqualah (plosive sound)
• Gray: used to indicate the letters that are not to be pronounced

2. Obvious Script

Reading the Quran is much easier now!

We have added extra spaces between the Quranic words in order to make it clearer and easier to read and recite the Quran.

In the past, when the normal -not obvious script- Quran was only available, it was hard for the non-Arabic readers of the Quran and new learners to know where the Quranic words start and where do they end, it was very easy for them to get confused and then to make recitation mistakes, and most crucial to lose the meaning of the Aya.

Now with our Obvious Script Qurans, the script is spaced out, the words are separated with extra spaces, recitation and learning the Quran is now much easier and smoother for everyone.

All our Quranic products come with Obvious Script now.

3. Permissible Stops

Stop at the right place and time!

No recitation mistakes and no misunderstanding of the meanings anymore..

In order to avoid stopping at wrong places and times, we have implemented extra wide space at the permissible stoppage places, all through the Holy Quran.

This very helpful method - which we own its patent since 2003 - is adopted by Al-Azhar Al-Shareef in Egypt back in 2007.
