Silent Letters
Shown in grey to mark letters that are written but not pronounced during recitation.
We help reciters of every level read the Qur'an correctly and beautifully — through authentic Mus'hafs, guided courses, and tools built on sound Tajweed scholarship.
Tajweed Quran Store was founded on a simple belief: every Muslim, regardless of background or how new they are to Arabic, deserves the tools to recite the Qur'an with precision and confidence. We curate colour-coded Tajweed Mus'hafs, structured learning books, and guided audio courses so that the rules of recitation feel intuitive rather than intimidating.
From students just beginning their journey to hafiz-level reciters polishing their pronunciation, our collection is built to meet you exactly where you are — with materials sourced from trusted publishers and reviewed for accuracy.
Colour-coding is a well-established teaching method that marks each Tajweed rule with its own colour directly in the Arabic text, so reciters can apply the correct pronunciation at a glance rather than memorising every rule in advance.
Shown in grey to mark letters that are written but not pronounced during recitation.
Shown in red to flag letters that require elongated vocalisation (madd).
Shown in green for the nasal sound (ghunnah) produced through the nose.
Shown in blue to highlight the heavier, emphatic letters (tafkheem) in Arabic.
The colour-coded Tajweed approach we use isn't a modern shortcut — it was examined by the Qur'an Revision Committee of the Islamic Research Academy at Al-Azhar Ash-Shareef, who confirmed the underlying Mus'haf was correctly rendered in the Othmani script, with accurate calligraphy and vocalisation.
The committee's review found the colour-coding concept to be an original and helpful teaching aid that supports readers in applying Tajweed rules correctly, without compromising the integrity of the text in any way.
